Our Story
As an Emmy-Award winning makeup artist, Jennifer Aspinal knows a thing or two about makeup. Especially what using it continually can do to your skin. And with over 50 years in the film and television industry– working on productions from Toxic Avengers to Fallout– she’s seen it all. That’s what led her to develop Barrier Lotion by Skin Saver Labs. “I was working with an actor who has extremely sensitive skin,” explains Jennifer. “We tried everything to protect it– so that he could wear makeup– but nothing worked. I just had to find a way to help him.”
